With previous experience of porting FNAF, our tech and art team was happy to work a little more on this project. Here are some challenges they solved:
Incorrect texture switching in dynamics.
– optimize textures mipmaps;
– optimizing textures loading sequence;
– reworking pool functionality.
Loading screen calling in wrong areas.
– reviewing and reworking some functionality;
– adding validators.
Performance issues on PS4 and Xbox One
– removing some of the hard refs;
– optimizing the Wwise functionality, including Containers optimization, Spatialization & real time sound processing;
– fixing the compliance bugs;
– reworking a part of memory stacking.
Staff bots are showing weird behavior in some game areas.
– reworking the AI functionality.
